Throughout my entire life, I have never been a blogger. Posting my words to the public feels very awkward. I have never thought that I would be a blogger, but I am very excited about this experience. This will be definitely a unique experience, and especially for my future career as a web developer, this opportunity will be very useful because I will be able to figure out what is needed more for bloggers to upgrade their websites.

As running a blog by myself, I realized that this requires a lot of creativity. I edited a header photo by myself, but it was very difficult to come up with the concept and the design of the header photo. Also, this was my first time editing a photo that I was struggling to utilize the tools in the photoshop editor. The photo might look bad, maybe it would be worse to look at, however, this one photo includes all my time, creativity, and effort. However, editing a photo was nothing compared to writing posts. Because there are thousands of websites and a lot of them have a similar topic to mine. Moreover, among the bloggers who have a similar topic or the same topic, I am the beginner who has never done writing any posts.

It is very nervous to upload posts because I always wonder if people will visit my page and look through my posts. However, even though it has just been about 2 weeks of running a blog, I realized that it is up to my mind that I have to enjoy it since I cannot avoid or ignore this opportunity. This will be my first step towards my better future career. Therefore, I determined to do my best regardless of the number of visitors.

  1. Hey,
I really enjoyed reading your post! I like your style of writing because you keep it real and honest. I can definitely relate to the struggle of typing up blog posts mainly because I’m not vocal about things that I’m passionate about as its something I’d rather keep to myself. I also think you did a great job for your first try at Photoshop as well. I’m looking forward to reading more blogs from you and seeing how your website develops!

  2. Hello Keun Hyung!

I agree with you that I have never been much of a blogger either. I always thought bloggers were people who were vulnerable online and used words to describe their emotions. One of the things I struggled with when making the header was the creativity aspect about it. Although I was familiar with the technical parts, I found it difficult to put together a photo that satisfied me. Even though it may be a bit embarrassing to make blog posts and upload your photos onto your website, it is all a great experience for the future. A lot of companies think it is impressive to have web editing experience. Therefore, I think you are doing an amazing job and I’m sure your website will turn out amazing by the end of this course.

  3. Hey Keunhyung,

I really like the header that you have chosen for your website. It’s really high quality and neatly organized. I’m in the same boat as you as I would’ve never thought I would be blogging about sports. It definitely takes some time to get used to. I’m still learning how to navigate through wordpress.
